Mmmm hmmm...this is a find!
Sweet Cakes Bakery is a little gem nestled on the corner of Damen Avenue and Iowa in the Ukrainian Village. I love the vibe here...clean, open and welcoming. Oh yeah...the frosting on the cupcakes is out of this world!!! Very light and buttery. YUM! But I think my favorite thing is the raspberry cornmeal scone...so flipping good!
I can't wait to get a group of girlfriends together and check out their afternoon tea on Tuesday's.
Be sure to check of Sweet Cakes if you live in the area (or visit Chicago!)
You can find the bakery at:
901 North Damen Avenue
